Anil Gyan Mandir Foundation 

Welcome to the Anil Gyan Mandir Foundation. My name is Aanjini Bhatnagar, and I am a sophomore in high school. I started this charity page as a way to pay homage to my grandfather and the school that he opened. My grandfather was a doctor who served for 40 years in the Indian Government and was exposed to the many hardships of educational equality through his experiences of working in low-income areas. He believed in education and equality for all, no matter the situation or circumstances. These kids, ages 4-12, do not have proper clothes on their backs, let alone any other resources. I was quite young when he passed, yet I remember the kindness, fortune, and love he spread to each person he interacted with. As his granddaughter, I believe in continuing his legacy by giving more kids the opportunity of education in a beneficial environment. With the right resources, kids in the small village of Ramgarh will be able to gain an education, something that seems unreal to them as of now. His dedication and beliefs are the embodiment of the values our school holds, and my dedication continues on through this donation page. Until now, the school was run by family donations but we hope to expand and improve education standards through the use of your donations. Any and all donations will be used in order to create amenities such as bathrooms and classrooms, and markers, books, backpacks, etc. will be bought for each student. Any amount of money will be humbly appreciated by the school and its students. Thank you!
